What is the turn-around for a print?
We will try to get your print completed within two weeks of receiving the files. Non-standard sizing and custom papers may increase the time required to complete your project. If you need an image printed as soon as possible, please call or email to discuss and we will happily accommodate you.
Technical details for print preparation:
Prints are completed on Canon Large Format Printers with 12 colours. The print head resolution is 2400x1200. Soft-proofing profiles for your paper of choice are available.
Can the prints be mounted or framed?
There are many options for framing your particular photo; different matboard, moulding, glass, floating frames. You can check out the framing options on the website for more information.
How long will this print last?
The pigment based inks we use are of the highest quality and have excellent reproduction and longevity - prints should last at least 70 with sunlight, and even longer with a frame.
What are the different papers that you use?
Some of our favourite papers include the Canson Platine Fibre Rag 310gsm, Rag Photographique 310gsm, Hannemuhle Photorag, Ilford Gold Fibre Silk and Gold Fibre Gloss. We also use Canon’s Pro Lustre, Platinum Gloss and Matte papers.
